For decades, RAL 9010 and 9001 have been the best-selling white paints. Tempt yourself by other types of white and gloss.
Many different types of white
It’s hard to choose from all the available types of white. Creamy white, puffy white, pearl white, snow white, the list is endless. It’s possible to use all types of white next to each other. Pure white can be perfectly compatible with broken white. And high gloss can be combined with matt white. You can mix white coatings with other colors, for example with a whiff of red or yellow.
Let’s combine them!
Cool white recalls a different feeling than warm white. By combining both of them, you will balance the two. You could use a harder tone of white together with grey and some other colors. Or pure, bright white with a warm brown-black color.
Cool white
Cool white is frequently used in warm and sunny countries. In The Netherlands these types of white are best for rooms directed towards the south or west. You can obtain cool white by mixing pure white and a touch of black or blue.
Warm white
Warm white fits perfectly with the light in The Netherlands and is also widely used by Dutch interior designers. You can easily use it for rooms facing the north or east.
Couches and curtains
Consider the interaction between the colors of your furniture, the curtains and the materials. A red couch, for example, fits beautifully with a white wall and a shade of red.
Broken white with a touch of yellow or pink, on the other hand, can be nicely combined in a room that has a variety of colors.
